Cream brulee with chestnuts (crème brûlée)

Preparation : 20 minutes Cooking : 40 minutes Ingredients (for 4 people):

- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbps of sugar
- 10 oz of chestnut cream spread
- 1 1/2 cups of cream
- 4 teasp of brown sugar
Optional :
- 4 sugared chestnuts (confit)
- 1 tbsp of powdered sugar
Directions:
1) Preheat the oven to 300°F
2) Heat the cream in a pot
3) Whip the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture lightens
4) Pour the boiling cream on the preparation while stirring.

5) Add in the chestnut puree and mix well.

6) Distribute in four ramequins and cook for 40 minutes in the oven in a bain-marie (the mixture in a bowl surrounded by water).

7) Let it cool then put them in the fridge at least 1 hour.

8) Just before serving, sprinkle the tops with brown sugar and pass them under the broiler to caramelize the surface.

Dust with a powdered sugar cloud and decorate with a sugared chestnut.
A delicacy that will impress chestnut lovers!
