- 2 pieces of turkey or chicken
- 1 shallot, chopped very thinly
- 1 tbsp of honey
- little more than 1/2 cup of red port
- 2 tbsps of oil (preferably grapeseed oil)
- a slice of gingerbread
- salt and pepper
Directions:
Cut the turkey or chicken into pieces, then add salt and pepper.
Cook for two minutes with the shallot in the oil, then add in the meat.
When a light coloring appears, add the honey and let it caramelize for approximately two minutes (light caramel).
Dilute with the port, then soak the gingerbread slice in the sauce. Add more seasoning if needed.
Serve with basmati rice.
