Preparation: 20 min

Ingredients (serves 8 people):

- 1 puff pastry (pie crust)
- 4 eggs
- 1 liter of milk
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- little less than 1 cup of cornstartch
- 1 vanilla pod

Directions:

Boil the milk with the split vanilla pod (in the direction lengthwise).

During this time, mix the cornstartch (filtered, it is better!) with sugar and add the well beaten eggs.

Mix the whole (well homogenized) and add the boiling milk (without the pod).
Cook the preparation on low without ceasing stirring for approximately 1 to 2 min.

Sink a rectangular dish buttered beforehand in the pie crust pastry.
Pour in the preparation.

Cook at 415°F for approximately 30 to 40 min.
The time for cooking depends on you oven, so survey it well!
