- 5 tomatoes
- olive oil
- dried basil (or any herbs of your choice)
- salt and pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven at 180°F.
Line two baking pans with greaseproof paper.
Wash and halve tomatoes lengthwise, then slice thinly crosswise. Spread tomato slices on baking pans than sprinkle with salt, pepper, dried herbs and olive oil.
Bake for 2 hours, then switch position of top pan and bottom pan in oven for an even cooking and bake 1 hour longer, checking regularly.
