Frangipane tart

Ingredients (for 6 persons) :
- 2 puff pastries (homemade or from the supermarket)
- 150 g of powdered almond
- 100 g of caster sugar
- 75 g of butter
- 2 eggs (one for glazing the dough)
- 2 tablespoons of rum

- 5 1/4 oz of powdered almond
- 3 1/2 oz of caster sugar
- 2 3/4 oz of butter
- 2 eggs (one for glazing the dough)
- 2 tablespoons of rum

Method :

In a bowl, mix the powdered almonds with the sugar, the softened butter, 1 egg and the rum.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out one puff pastry on it.

Spread with the almond-egg dough.

Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg to be able to seal the two rounds of pastry.

Cover with the second puff pastry.

Make small lines on the dough as a decoration and glaze with the egg yolk.

Place in a preheated oven at 200 ° C / 400 °F for 10 minutes.
