Parisian Flan

Preparation time : 20 minutes
Cooking time : 40 minutes

Ingredients (for 8 persons) :
- 1 pie crust
- 4 eggs
- 1 L milk
- 150 g sugar
- 90 g cornstarch
- 1 vanilla pod

Method :


Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).

Boil the milk with the opened vanilla pod.

Meanwhile, mix the cornstarch with the sugar and the beaten eggs. Mix thoroughly and add the boiling milk after removing the vanilla pod.

Stir continuously while cooking on low heat for 2 minutes.

Put the pie crust on the pie plate. Pour the mixture over it.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
